Performance
The 2025 Forester features the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as before, pairing with a Lineartronic® continuously variable transmission and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The difference lies in output, with the new model delivering 180 horsepower compared to last year's 182 but improving torque to 178 pound-feet over 176 pound-feet.
Design
The Forester adds interesting new changes to the lineup's exterior and interior, giving you a style you won't be able to resist. The lineup adds dark gray 19-inch alloy wheels on the Touring trim and boasts a bronze finish on the Forester Sport model. With 8.7 inches of ground clearance, you'll have no issues with the terrain ahead.Inside, you'll love the look and feel of your new SUV. The lineup continues to seat five passengers, providing ample space for legroom and cargo space equally. The expanded cargo space offers up to 74.4 cubic feet of storage area, easily accessible through a hands-free power liftgate. Luxuries include leather-wrapped upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated/ventilated amenities. You can even enjoy a new panoramic moonroof with the right Forester model.
Technology
The new interior design brings a few exciting options to improve the quality of your morning commute. The new Forester updates the STARLINK® Multimedia system with the Dual 7.0-inch setup and Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ integration. Higher trim levels will enjoy the new 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, which works well with the wireless charging configuration.
Safety
The 2023 Subaru Forester keeps the tradition of a safe drive with the EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, a host of safety options to help keep you and your family safe. From lane departure warning to forward collision mitigation, you won't have to worry when on the road. Apex trim levels will include rear cross-traffic alert and evasive steering assistance.
