Great Falls Subaru Delivers Hope - Tovi E
On June 26th, Great Falls Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. Through Great Falls Subaru’s participation in these programs, it shows they care. Great Falls Subaru consistently shows up and shows out for their community, and that impact was felt on the delivery day. Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute was a joy to work with, and we were so happy they were the recipients of Great Falls Subaru’s donation. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another. Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Great Falls, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Great Falls Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Great Falls Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/27/2025, Great Falls Subaru donated 120 shoes/socks to YWCA Great Falls. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

At the Arbor Day Foundation, we believe that something bigger than all of us takes all of us. This bold hope transforms into action through trees planted, canopies grown and communities strengthened. TREES FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Through Subaru's Love Promise commitment, Great Falls Subaru partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to enhance our community’s front and backyards through the distribution of 100 trees to our customers. These trees contribute to cleaner air, provide wildlife habitat, and improve the Great Falls community. Each planting through the Subaru Loves the Earth® program represents our continued support of environmental stewardship. A GROWING PARTNERSHIP The trees at our retailer remind us of our responsibility to the earth and future generations. Each customer who picked up a tree became part of this effort. A community that understands that caring for our environment means caring for each other. Our commitment isn't just about today, it's about driving change for a greener, healthier future forgenerations of Great Falls residents. Food for families in need - Tiffany W
Family Promise Great Falls operates a limited food pantry for families with children facing food insecurity. We offer families a few days worth of food to bridge the gap, until other options are available. We rely on generous donations from our community to be able to offer this service to the families we serve. Recently we've had more families in need of food, as supplies at other agencies have been running low. Our stock had gotten depleted, so our Outreach Director reached out to Great Falls Subaru for help. Their staff ran a food drive for our food pantry, and they delivered to our offices with smiles. The staff at Subaru helped refill our pantry for families in need, and we are so grateful for their support. Family Promise Great Falls works with homeless children and their families to find and maintain permanent housing. We also offer food, housing supplies, furniture (when available), case management, and referrals to partner organizations. Thank you Great Falls Subaru, we appreciate your support!
CommUNITY Cleanup - Emma N
Every year, NeighborWorks Great Falls, Malmstrom AFB, and local teams come together to clean up and beautify our community. This year, Subaru organized a team and spent time at the local public library clearing out garden beds along the parking area, trimming hedges, and picking up trash. Their hard work made a big difference!
CommUNITY Cleanup - Sarah C
Great Falls Subaru came out strong for the annual CommUNITY Cleanup with NeighborWorks Great Falls. They were assigned to help out at the Great Falls Public Library, and we could not be more grateful for their work. They cleared out the garden beds along our parking area, and completed some wonderful beautification of our area. Their hard work and commitment to Great Falls can be seen in everything they do. Thank you for all you do for this community!
A Growing Love Promise - Mary D
Last fall when a terrible wind howled through Great Falls, we battened down the hatches, but nature has its own plans. When the dawn broke, we emerged to a scene of devastation. Our beloved old shade tree in our front lawn was down. It was cleaved in half lengthwise and looked miserable as its twisted trunk and branches clawed at the sky, exposed and vulnerable. After we cleared the debris, the empty space on our lawn remained a constant reminder of what we had lost. Then, I saw the announcement on Facebook: “Great Falls Subaru: Loves the Earth! Partners with the Arbor Society to Plant 100 trees in Cascade County!.” They were donating sugar & red maple trees to the community, a Subaru Love Promise in action. A way to beautify the area and help restore what nature had taken away. My heart leapt. A sugar maple! The vibrant hues of a maple in autumn were exactly what our desolate yard needed, a burst of color to replace the somber emptiness. I immediately applied, crossing my fingers and hoping against hope. To my delight, the online approval was fast and easy and we reserved one of the last trees available! The team from Great Falls Subaru emailed us a few weeks later that our tree had arrived and I could pick it up. I rushed down first thing that Saturday and saw pallets of beautiful maple saplings waiting for homes! I chose a sturdy sugar maple and set off home. I had the perfect spot, just a little offset from where the old shade tree had stood, and carefully planted the tree, securing it with stakes and watering it generously. The card that came with the tree explained the care the tree would need and the joy it would bring in the years to come. The young maple, still small enough to seem delicate, stood proudly in its new home. It wasn’t the towering majesty of the old shade tree, but it held a promise. A promise of future shade, of vibrant autumn colors, of a renewed sense of peace. As I look at that little tree, I see more than just a replacement for what was lost. I see hope, resilience, and the power of community. I see the kindness of Great Falls Subaru, the embodiment of their Love Promise to the Community. And I see the vibrant future they helped plant, not just in our yard, but in the heart of our neighborhood. The wind took something away, but Great Falls Subaru helped us plant something even more beautiful in its place. A legacy of giving, of community, and of love. That's a Love Promise worth believing in.

At YWCA Great Falls, we believe in the power of community, and thanks to the incredible generosity of Great Falls Subaru, the children and families we serve through our Mercy Home program have received much-needed support. Through their thoughtful donation of shoes and socks, the children in our Mercy Home program now have essential footwear to keep them warm, comfortable, and ready to take on each day with confidence. Something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a world of difference, providing not only physical comfort but also a sense of security and belonging. But the kindness of the Subaru team didn’t stop there. They went above and beyond by organizing a community drive to collect non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and paper goods for our Mercy Home domestic violence shelter. These everyday necessities are vital in helping the families we shelter rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment. The impact of this generosity is immeasurable. Thanks to Great Falls Subaru, families in crisis will have the essentials they need, and children will feel the warmth and care of a community that believes in them.
